Edra, the whole catalog: what each piece costs, and which ones can actually be replicated.

Edra sells two different things under one name. Some pieces are upholstered modulars where most of the price is margin. Others are hand-built over a week each and cannot be faked without becoming a different object. Here is the full catalog, by designer, with real prices and an honest replicability verdict on each.

The short version

Edra was founded in 1987 in Perignano, Tuscany, and still makes everything there by hand. The catalog splits cleanly: the upholstered sofas (Standard, On the Rocks, Pack) carry a normal luxury markup you can route around, while the Campana Brothers chairs (Vermelha, Favela, Corallo) are genuinely unreplicable, the labor is the object. We tell you which is which.

How to read this
  • Prices are US authorized-dealer or documented resale, 2026. Edra is quote-only on most pieces, so many figures are estimates and labeled.
  • Replicable means a spec-equivalent exists or could be built factory-direct for far less. Unreplicable means the hand-labor or patented material cannot be shortcut.
  • Pieces with a full teardown link through. The rest are catalog entries we have not yet deconstructed in full.
  • Fernando Campana died in 2022. Humberto Campana continues as Estudio Campana. Campana pieces are now designs by a partly-historical studio in active production.
Francesco Binfare

The sofas (with Edra since 1992)

Binfare is the most important designer in the catalog. His pieces are upholstered modulars. Most are replicable in feel, except On the Rocks, whose Gellyfoam is patented.

The Campana Brothers (Estudio Campana, since 1998)

The chairs that cannot be faked, and the sofas that can

Fernando Campana died in 2022; Humberto continues. The armchairs are hand-built over days to a week each and have no real dupe market. The sofas are more conventional.

The rare collection and the outliers

Hadid's 1988 Edra collection had a small production run (1988 to 1993) and is now auction-only. Tatlin remains in the catalog.

The honest take

Edra is not one markup story. Buy the Standard and you are buying an upholstered sofa with a normal luxury margin you can route around. Buy the Corallo and you are buying nine hundred hand welds that no factory will ever fake. The skill is knowing which piece is in front of you. That is what each teardown does.
